ROBOTS, Inc. Starts Robotics Education Programs For Children 8 to 18

WAYNE, Pa., July 1 /PRNewswire/ -- ROBOTS, Inc. launches a ROBOTICS education program for children ages 8 to 18.

ROBOTS, Inc. is the premier center for education in ROBOTICS and automation technology for children 8 to 18. Due to the immense surge in ROBOTICS applications in fields such as medicine, manufacturing, space exploration, military, and entertainment, school age children will find themselves in a market filled with opportunities involving ROBOTICS.

ROBOTS, Inc. has devised strong curricula for children 8 to 18 that integrate building skills with computer science and engineering in order to tackle real world problems. Our instructors are experienced inventors, teachers, and engineers who are passionate about ROBOTICS and the opportunity to teach today's school age children to make ROBOTICS skills as fundamental as mathematics and language arts skills. Skills developed in our courses will help guide children to discover their respective strengths in many areas of technology.

With a focus on the future, we have appropriately selected SPACE EXPLORATION as the theme for our students to develop all their projects in the 2002/2003 school year. This will not only introduce children to ROBOTICS but also to challenges in SPACE EXPLORATION.

All classes are 10 weeks and 2 hours per week of class time. Children will showcase their inventions at the end of each class. ROBOTS, Inc. will also hold a national ROBOT exhibition in spring of 2003 to showcase ROBOTS built by children ages 8 to 18. The theme for the exhibition is also SPACE EXPLORATION. All teaching is conducted using the LEGO Mindstorms robotics kits.
